Some people are claiming that vaccination does not work. They suspect it weakens the immune system and introduces other viruses to their bodies. 

  • Do you agree with this idea?Why (not)?
  • What are the benefits of getting vaccinated?And the drawbacks?
  • Should vaccination be totally free? Why(not)?

There is a healing power in being cared for, a power that mothers seem to possess innately. As children, we believed that a mother’s touch could cure us of any ailment or illness. Whether pain was internal or external, mothers always seemed to know precisely how to relieve us of it.

  • What are some old remedies you know of to help with ailments?
  • What do you think the idiom “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure“ means? Do you agree?
  • Do hospitals make you nervous? Give reasons.

Life expectancy has increased over the last few decades. It is a well-known fact that, these days, people live much
longer than in the past, especially in countries like Spain, Italy or Japan.

  • Discuss the benefits of living longer and the problems it can cause.
  • Some people consider that taking care of their elders can be a burden for a family. Do you agree?
  • How can a country increase the life-expectancy of its citizens? Give some ideas.

The NHS (National Health Service) was launched in 1948. It was born out of a long-held ideal that good healthcare should be available to all, regardless of wealth, one of the NHS's core principles.”

  • Is there a good healthcare system in your country?
