What does she look like? She's tall and slim

 Lookalikes

Where can you see Abraham Lincoln, Queen Elizabeth II, Penelope Cruz, Elvis, Leo Messi and Tom Hanks together? At Madame Tussauds, of course! It is a wax museum and one of the biggest attractions in London.

In London, it was founded by Madame Tussauds, a French exile, in 1835. One of the most famous attractions is the Chamber of Horrors, which features infamous characters like Attila the Hun, Guy Fawkes and Burke and Hare (the bodysnatchers).

Other popular figures include those of famous sporting heroes like Beckham and Olympics heroine Jessica Ennis, Royals like Charles and Diana, and music stars such as One Direction, Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue.

The first model of Winston Churchill appeared in 1908. Since then 9 new figures have been made!

Have a look at this video about the museum.

Actividad

Look at the text above. Notice that we use such as and like (don't confuse it with the verb like) to introduce examples.

If there is a verb after these expressions, we use a gerund:

I do lots of sports like running and swimming.

I do lots of different things in my free time such as listening to music, astronomy and playing golf.
